Dr. Choi is a board-certified Ophthalmologist who has been practicing in the Inland Empire for the past 20 years. He has performed over 10,000 procedures in Cataract, Cornea, and Refractive Surgery (LASIK). Dr. Choi has a particular interest in helping patients find the right lens implant and procedure in premium cataract surgery that serves both function and the patient’s budget.
He studied at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Biology, and earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois in Chicago. He trained in Ophthalmology at the University of Florida and completed a Cornea and Refractive Surgery fellowship with the renowned ophthalmic specialist Dr. Francis Price in Indianapolis. Dr. Choi has published in peer-reviewed Ophthalmology journals and teaches Ophthalmology residents at Loma Linda University.
Dr. Choi's hobbies include triathlons, having completed a full Ironman event, running full and half marathons, skiing at Mammoth Mountain, cooking, and spending time with his family and two dogs.
