Dr. Kim grew up in Los Angeles and attended the University of Southern California on a full scholarship, studying Psychobiology and Art History. She continued her education at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, where she developed an interest in ophthalmology while working as a research fellow in neuro-ophthalmology under Dr. Alfredo Sadun. Following an internship year in internal medicine at LAC+USC, Dr. Kim completed her ophthalmology residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She returned to Los Angeles to practice as a comprehensive ophthalmologist, with particular interests in dry eyes, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy.
In her free time, Dr. Kim enjoys reading, running, and making ceramics. Known for her attention to detail and exceptional listening skills, Dr. Kim is committed to providing the best possible eye care to her patients. She is fluent in both Spanish and Korean.
