Ledia Samwill, O.D.

Dr. Samwil is a passionate and dedicated optometrist with a notable commitment to comprehensive eye care. With an optometry degree from Salus University, where she was consistently recognized on the Dean’s list, Dr. Samwil has demonstrated her academic excellence and dedication to her field. She has an admirable record of service, including active participation in the Student Optometric Service to Humanity (SOSH), through which she contributed to a medical mission trip in Nicaragua. Her commitment to education extended to serving as a teaching assistant in the clinical skills laboratory at Salus University, assisting underclassmen in their optometric education.

Her professional training is comprehensive, with externships completed at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, PA, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, and Martinsburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV. After her graduation, Dr. Samwil practiced in Virginia, where she worked collaboratively with other eye specialists and surgeons to provide exceptional care.
