Nicole Fuerst, M.D.

Nicole M. Fuerst, MD, a native of Los Angeles, is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in corneal disease, cataracts, and refractive surgery. She adopts a patient-centered approach, treating each patient as if they were family. Dr. Fuerst completed her medical education at the prestigious Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the Scheie Eye Institute at the same university, where she was honored with multiple teaching awards. Her advanced training continued at the renowned Duke Eye Center in Durham, North Carolina, where Dr. Fuerst completed a two-year clinical and research fellowship focusing on cornea and external disease. During this time, she mastered the latest techniques in corneal, cataract, and refractive surgery.
