Paymon Mahdavi, M.D.

Dr. Paymohn Mahdavi graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. After spending five years as an analyst and consultant in prototype development and robotics, he transitioned to medicine, earning his medical degree from Loma Linda University, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Mahdavi completed his ophthalmology residency at New York Medical College, serving as Chief Resident, and pursued further specialization with a fellowship in Vitreo-Retinal surgery at the National Retina Institute in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Mahdavi is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, and the American Society of Retinal Surgeons. He has contributed to the field with presentations at the Academy, ASRS, and ARVO.

Fluent in English, Farsi, and Spanish, Dr. Mahdavi is well-equipped to serve a diverse patient population. Outside of his professional commitments, he enjoys tennis, golf, and weightlifting.
